Vidya Social Empowerment Center (VSEC), an initiative of Vidya International Charitable Trust (VICT) has been conducting various empowerment sessions with an aim to provide HS and HSS students with valuable insights and motivation to unlock their potential and understand the significance of time management in achieving their goals.
VSEC conducted a two-day online empowerment program titled “Empowerment Program 2K24: Embrace the Power of Possibility” during 22 – 23 February 2024. The first day of the program focused on unlocking the potential of the participants. The session commenced with a prayer led by Ann Rose Rajan (S4, AIML Dept) followed by a warm welcome speech by Thushar Reginold (S4 CSE Dept). Jyothika sreevalsan (S4, CSE Dept) introduced the esteemed resource person for the day. The speaker Mr Alex Chacko C (Assistant Professor, ME Dept) shared valuable insights and practical tips on unleashing one’s potential to achieve success. The vote of thanks was delivered by Jisni P J (S4, CE Dept). The anchoring for the day was skillfully handled by Sinan Sulaiman (S6 ME Dept).
The second day of the program emphasized the importance of time management in realizing one’s dreams. The session commenced with a prayer led by Mithra Jayapal (S4, CSE Dept ) followed by welcome address by Fathima Nazrin, (S4 CSE Dept) . Vidhu Vishwak (S4, CSE Dept ) introduced the resource person for the day. The speaker Ms Akhila R (Asst Prof, EEE Dept) shared valuable insights on the significance of time management and how it can impact one’s journey towards success. Anagha K. Sudharsan (S4, CSE Dept ) delivered the vote of thanks, acknowledging the contributions of the speaker and organizers. The anchoring for the day was effectively handled by Farzeena (S4, CE Dept ) and Mohammed Ishfaq Abdul Rahim (S4, CSE Dept ) designed the welcome banner for the two days of the online Empowerment Programme.
The Empowerment Program 2K24, organized by VSEC, provided an excellent platform for school students to gain valuable insights and motivation. The sessions on unlocking one’s potential and understanding the importance of time management were informative and inspiring. The feedback of the participants were taken and all participants were awarded e-certificates for their active participation. The program’s success can be attributed to the collaborative efforts of the organizers, resource persons, and participants.
Ms. Roshni Vijay (Asst Prof, CE Dept) and Ms Jiji P J (Asst Prof, AS Dept) co-ordinated the programme under the leadership of Dr Siju K C (Head, VSEC and Asoo Prof, AS Dept) with the support of VSEC coordinators and student volunteers.
