Vidya Social Empowerment Center (VSEC), an initiative of Vidya International Charitable Trust (VICT) conducted the second round of ‘Vidya Science Scholarship 2023’ on 16 September 2023 in Vidya Academy of Science and Technology. 29 students were selected for the second round of the scholarship examination. 16 students were present for the exam and they were accompanied by their parents. A session was arranged parallel for parents.The session led by Adv. P N Unnirajan IPS ((Retd),Director of VSEC) was focused on encouraging parents to explore and recognize their children’s valuable interests during daily activities.Engaging with a child’s interests early on helps in their overall development, fostering creativity, critical thinking and personal growth.

Parents play a crucial role in identifying these interests and providing the necessary support and resources to nurture them. This would also help them trace the right track in the path of their life.

Parents found the session interesting and interacted well with the resource person.
